Board Minutes of Board of Supervisors December 5, 1989 The Board of Supervisors of Shelby County, Iowa. met pur- suant to law and rules of said board in scheduled session at 9:00 A.M., in the courthouse with the following members present: Burdette Poldberg, Chairman, Charles M. Early, Gayle Petersen and Auditor. Marsha Carter. A motion was made by Early, seconded by Petersen, to ap- prove the agenda with addenda to sign REC Easement and ap- point Board of Health member. Motion carried unanimously. It was moved by Early, seconded by Pcterscn, to approve the minutes of November 21, 1989. Motion carried unanimously. It was moved by Early, seconded by Peterscn, to authorize the Chairman to sign the easement granting REC an casement over a parcel of land located in the NE 1/4, Section 25, Township 79 North, Range 39 West of the 5th P.M., Shelby County, Iowa. Motion carried unanimously. It was moved by Petersen, seconded by Poldberg, to appoint Dr. Wing-Tai Fang to the Board of Health, term expiring 12-31- 92. Motion carried unanimously. It was moved by Early, seconded by Petersen to approve the claims of I 1-30-89, as Listed in the Claims Register. Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION 8@-33 TEMIRARY ALLOCATION OF PARM-TO-MARIT WHEREAS, Iowa Code section 301.27 as amended by 1985 Iowa Acts, chapter 83, permits the temporary, advance alloca- tion of FM road funds to a county, and WHEREAS, Shelby County, in order to proceed with its 1990 proposed FM construcUon program, is in need of $2,000,000.00 which is approximately four years of anticipated receipts. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Shelby County re- quests the DEPARTMENT to authorize the advance allocation of the requested sums. AYES: POLDBERG, EARLY, PETERSEN. NAYES: NONE.
