HONORS FOR FORMER IRWIN1TES A former Irwinite, Joyce (Carter) Gale of Lawton, OK., was honored when Camanche City Memorial Hospital of that city, named a Scholarship Fund for nursing students in her name. She was a long time staff member and director of nursing for many years. The announcement was made recently during the Hospital Founders Day celebration in honor of its 38th anniversary. One other scholarship was also given. Joyce is now re- tired and daughter of the late Nick Caners of Irwin.
