Mrs Ardyth Christoffersen of Greenfield honored her mother Gretrude Nelson at a birthday coffee party June 14 at Gertrudes. Guests were James Jensen and his daughter-in-law Mrs Tom Jensen and children of CO, Mrs Orpha Jensen, Merle Petersens, Ruth Petersen, Mrs Marvin Thobe and grandson of Audubon, Lonnie Christoffersen, Atlantic, Randy Christoffersens and daughter Casey, Mrs Emmert Olson and Kyle and Lydia Nelson, Elk Horn, Sarah Petersen and Dorcas Randolph. Ed Esbeck, Seattle, WA, and David Esbeck, Des Moines, were guests the past week at Gundrun Eshecks. She weighed 8 lbs., 15 oz. and has been named Tiffany Marie. Grandparents are Dick Johnsons, Cuppy's Grove and Gary Schnepels, Omaha. Great grandparents are Gaylord Johnsons, Cuppy's Grove and Henry Hattigs, South Sioux City. Sunday dinner guests at Fred Foxes were Brent Norgaards and Christopher, Ankeny; Ardith Bivens, Avoca; and Alia Andersen. Norgaards spent the weekend at Foxes. Darrell Muellers, George Mathiasens and Gaylord Johnsons had supper at a local restaurant Saturday night. Later they spent time at Darrell Muellers. Ethel Clemons was a Sunday dinner guest at Marlow Clemonses. VISIT GRANDPARENTS Beth and Joy Larsons (Merle), Oakland, spent Thursday and Friday at their grandparents, Ray Larsons. David Andersens and Greg, Denison, visited Ray Larsons Friday. Dr and Mrs Robert Lee, Grand Rapids, MI, spent last Monday at Ivan Lees and Richard Lees, being called here by the tragic death of their nephew, Richard Lee, Jr. Raymond Lee, in the airforce in England, also came on Tuesday and has a 19 day leave with his parents, Ivan Lees. ENJOYED A PICNIC Robert Bartons met David Coopers, Des Moines, at Stuart Sunday eve for a picnic. Russ Chamberlains were Sunday dinner guests at Robert Bartons.
